Electricity Smart Metering & AMI Deployment

Project Overview

This project involved the supply and deployment of electricity smart meters and a complete Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) to support the digital transformation of electricity distribution services in the West Bank and Gaza. MOSECO, in partnership with Inhemeter, delivered a comprehensive smart metering solution for PENRA, enabling Electricity Distribution Companies (EDISCOs) to improve metering accuracy, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen energy management and revenue assurance capabilities.

Project Value

The implementation of smart metering and AMI infrastructure enabled PENRA and local Electricity Distribution Companies to modernize electricity distribution operations, enhance transparency, and support sustainable energy management. This project demonstrates MOSECO’s capability to deliver large-scale smart utility solutions, combining metering hardware, communications, and software platforms into a unified, future-ready energy ecosystem.
